Nayeli has become my little sister and nothing can change that. And when she falls asleep in the evening with the words “I love you, big sister”, I know that I have made the right decision. Then I am sure that my year in Chile is a unique experience that I would not exchange for anything in the world despite some depths and challenges.
My time at the hostel in Arica in February / March 2016 was totally impressive! The owners of the hostel – Ross from New Zealand and Beatriz from Arica – were in my advanced age, very nice and relaxed even in the biggest hustle and bustle.
All in all we enjoyed our stay with South America Inside in Cusco. Remarkable was the care and interest that the staff showed from the beginning on and also before our arrival. Therefore we warmly recommend this organization! Thanks so much! It was a pleasure to have you as our contact person.
As a heads up I can only say that during my trip I had so many new experiences and impressions … It was amazing! So, I will tell you one by one:
I would like to emphasize in particular, that the family who runs the sanctuary does so with a lot of dedication and love for the animals, they work day to day! They were always available and very helpful so that with the time we developed a really good relationship. All I can say is, that this was a wonderful trip with lots of fun and interesting experiences. I am sure that in the future I will return to South America.
I will never regret that I decided to go for 7 month to Pichilemu. It was the best time of my life. I do not regret anything! With many people, I keep contact and we text almost every day. I am pleased to have made this experience.

When I decided to go abroad for a while, the search for a suitable organization started. After applying to two organizations but encountering some problems, my dad came across South America Inside by accident after doing some research. It was really a very good coincidence, because everything worked out wonderful!
I would like to emphasize again that I felt really well looked after and was in good hands with South America Inside. And the on-site support in the family and through the partner agency was perfectly organized and was completely satisfactory for me. I would go on a trip again at any time!
In the course of my volunteer work, I fell in love with a little street dog and adopted it and brought it to Germany. Her name is Marissa. She is such a wonderful dog and I am happy every day when I have her with me.
The language school in Punta del Este takes place in a beautiful, old villa that has been refurnished. The Spanish school is centrally located in a nature friendly neighborhood, just a few steps away from the sandy beach of Playa Mansa. There are two spacious classrooms available, and students can relax during the breaks in the garden, where occasionally, conversational classes are held.
