Encountering sea turtles in their natural habitat is an experience that really gets under your skin. It is indescribably impressive to see these huge creatures in real life and to contribute to their protection.
With this volunteer project you will help protect sea turtles on the picturesque Nicoya Peninsula in Costa Rica.
In our volunteer project in Panama you support a sanctuary for wild animals in the middle of a green oasis outside the capital Panama City. In the animal welfare center, animals that have fallen victim to the illegal animal trade are taken in and pepped up again. In most cases, they have been confiscated from customs on the black market or from other sort of captivity (e.g. private households, circus, hotels, etc.) and brought to the station.
With our volunteer work in Panama you support an animal welfare project for the preservation of the natural habitat of sea turtles in Panama. The reserve was established in 2008 and includes several beaches and land with lush vegetation.
