Spanish school
Our Spanish school in Pucon has a very familiar and cozy atmosphere. The school’s building is right in the city center, and students can easily reach shops, bars, restaurants, tour operators, the supermarket, and, of course the beach of beautiful Lake Villarrica. The Spanish school is equipped with comfortable classrooms, a nice patio, and a small business center with Internet access. As a result of many years of experience, the school has developed excellent teaching methods and all of the teachers are native speakers.
The Spanish language courses are of high quality and, you will see that your language skills will quickly improve. In order to obtain satisfying results within a short period of time, as well as provide enough free time to enjoy the beautiful surroundings, the Spanish school in Pucon focuses on one-on-one Spanish classes.
The lessons are customized according to your needs. Teaching material as well as learning methods will be adjusted to fit your individual needs. This learning model is perfect for travelers who want cultural immersion and would like to prepare for their travels around Chile.
Leisure activities
Since there are many agencies in Pucón offering outdoor sports, excursions and cultural activities, recreational activities are not offered by the language school.

School location
The city of Pucon is located approximately 780 kilometers (485 miles) south of the capital, Santiago de Chile, and is very close to the famous Villarrica volcano. Pucon has approximately 29.000 inhabitants and a highly developed tourism sector. The city is an absolute paradise for lovers of nature and the outdoors, as it offers a wide range of adventurous activities, such as rafting, kayaking, horseback riding, hiking, mountaineering and biking during the summer and skiing in winter. The lovely Lake Villarrica and its beaches invite you to relax and take a swim, as you admire the breathtaking view of the snow-capped volcano.
There are many rivers in the surrounding area that provide excellent locations for fishing and rafting, as well as many other beautiful lakes and even many hot springs.
During the high season, Pucon is a favorite holiday destination for international and national tourists, which is reflected in the city’s excellent infrastructure and nightlife. In addition to countless bars, nightclubs, and pubs, you might also get lucky in the local casino.
Pucon is not only a great destination for nature lovers, but you can also get close to the indigenous Mapuche culture. Many Mapuche communities live in the area and some families run small culture-based tourism businesses. You can go for a day to learn about their culture, take mapuche cooking classes, play palín and other traditional Mapuche games or even sleep in a ruca, their traditional house.
Spanish classes
The language school has developed a very successful language program that guarantees fast learning success and needs-based teaching. The courses are based on three main areas: grammar, understanding and speaking. Each block is trained and repeated through targeted exercises. All teachers have university degrees and years of experience teaching Spanish as a foreign language.
Spanish levels
6 levels according to CEFR, Common European Framework of References (A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, C2). On your first day of class you will do a placement test in order to determine your current language skills.

Two students - one teacher. This course can only be booked by two people travelling together and who have the same Spanish language skills.

The teaching material is tailored to the student's abilities and expectations, allowing the teacher to adapt each Spanish lesson to the student's individual learning capability and needs.
Accommodation
In Pucon, you can stay at one of our carefully chosen homestays, which gives you an excellent opportunity to get to know more about the culture of this wonderful country.
While staying at the homestay, you will discover Chilean traditions and authentic Chilean food. You will have your own room but may share the bathroom with the host(s). You have acces to the common areas, like the living room, dining room, kitchen and garden.
The accommodation includes full board and provides you with three delicious meals each day of the week. Living with your hosts enables you to immerse yourself in local culture and to practice your Spanish skills in real life situations.
Your room will be reserved from the Sunday before your program starts until the Saturday after the last day of your program. Extra days can always be booked in the case of an earlier arrival or later departure.
