The volunteer programs we offer in Chile are based
on social commitment and dedication at different kinds of organizations
and institutions. Our programs will not only give you a good possibility
to get to know the country and its culture, but also to improve your Spanish
language skills. Furthermore, you will also show solidarity with people
who rely on the help of others and appreciate your support. You will make
a small but very important contribution to the international understanding.
We offer volunteer work projects throughout Chile
and mainly cooperate with institutions that take care of the well-being
of people in need, for example shelters for children from poor families,
orphanages, homes for handicapped people, organizations for homeless,
playschools and nursing homes. We also offer the possibility of teaching
English.

DURATION OF THE VOLUNTEER PROGRAM IN CHILE
You decide about the duration of your volunteer program
in Chile. Please keep in mind that we recommend a minimum stay of four
to six weeks.

WORKING HOURS AND REMUNERATION OF THE VOLUNTEER PROGRAM
The working hours during your volunteer program depend
on the social institution. Generally, the projects are full-time positions.
The decision, whether to pay a remuneration or not, is completely up to
the volunteer institution. Usually, the programs are unpaid work experiences
because the institutions depend on donations to exist and to operate and
are not able to remunerate your work.

ACCOMMODATION DURING THE VOLUNTEER PROGRAM IN CHILE
The accommodation during your volunteer program takes
place in single rooms at host families or at shared apartments. On request
we can also offer you room and board. We select all accommodations very
carefully and make sure that they are located in nice and safe neighborhoods
and have good access to public transportation. Normally, you can also
find supermarkets, restaurants, bars and cyber cafés close-by.

language courses in Chile or other Latin American countries can be
