Learning Spanish in Santiago de Chile

Located in the center of the country, the Chilean capital Santiago is one of the most developed, sophisticated and safest cities in Latin America. Here you will find gigantic shopping malls, unbelievable architecture and outstanding infrastructure. Come and enjoy the endless cultural sites and activities. The Museo de Bellas Artes with its exhibitions of the work of international artists, La Moneda, the government palace and Plaza de Armas, the main square right in the center of the city are definitely worth a visit. We also recommend taking the funicular railway up Cerro San Cristóbal, the hill in the heart of Santiago from which there are amazing views of the entire city and the beautiful Andes mountain range.

Our partner school in Santiago de Chile is known as one of the finest language training centers offering high quality Spanish language classes with certified teachers. SPANISH COURSES
At our partner school in Santiago you will have the choice between the group course, intensive course and private classes. Choosing the group course, which consists of 20 classes per week, will be an excellent way of getting to know other international students. The intensive course includes 30 classes per week (20 group classes and 10 private lessons). This is a great opportunity for you to study with other students on the one hand and to discuss specific topics and specialize in certain issues during the private lessons with your own teacher on the other. If you are interested in only taking individual classes, the private classes (20 classes per week) will be perfect for you. You will be able to schedule the classes in the morning or in the afternoon.
All courses are offered for all levels of Spanish. Before starting your course you will take a little placement test to make sure that you are put in the right class. When you finish your Spanish language course you will be given a certificate of attendance which will look perfect in future university or job applications. Group classes consist of a maximum of six students and each class lasts 60 minutes. All courses can be started every Monday. If there were fewer than three students in one group class, only 15 classes will be held per week instead of 20.

LEISURE ACTIVITIES
Learning a language does not always have to take place in the classroom. At our partner school you will also have the chance to participate in excursions which are offered twice a week. All excursions are in Spanish. Please note that any entrance fees or public transportation will be charged extra. You are also more than welcome to join the day and weekend trips or the popular dance classes – all excellent options to practice your newly acquired Spanish language skills!

ACCOMMODATION
To make you feel at home as much as possible while staying in Chile we will do everything we can to find the perfect housing option for you. If you want to meet other international students or young professionals, we will be glad to organize a room in a shared apartment for you. Bathroom and kitchen are usually shared with your flat mates.
If you want to be part of a real Chilean family, we will place you with one of our carefully chosen host families. This is an excellent opportunity to experience the Chilean culture! We will do our best to find a place that is close to the school, next to a metro station or bus stop or within walking distance.
