Volunteer

Finally, I find a moment to say thank you for the fantastic stay abroad that your arrganged for me!! First I took 3 weeks Spanish course in Quito in summer and afterwards volunteered at the animal shelter. I have learned so much, and the schools’ staff was helping me so much from the very beginning – by far more than one would expect. They made me feel like being part of a big family. With Jimena, I got along so well, that the Spanish course hardly contained grammar because we were talking over so many other things while practizing :). And with the other family member I got along very well as well. Thank you again for an INCREDIBLE summer!!!!!

The work with the children was very interesting and the volunteer program was a good possibility for getting an insight into social classes. Also in the Center, everybody was really polite to us.
