MEXICO Learning Spanish in the country of Tequila and Sombreros!
|
Learn Spanish surrounded by Aztec ruins and deserts full of cacti!
Mexico has an incredible amount to offer to anyone
who ventures over its borders: beautiful beaches,
old ruins, mountains, volcanoes, deserts, cacti and
much more … it is a real
paradise for fans of culture and the outdoors! It
is, of course, also very famous for its exquisite
food: tacos, enchiladas, tortillas and – depending
on the region of the country – a huge variety of different sauces
ranging from very mild to smoking hot.
Mexico has 104 million inhabitants and is bordered by both the Caribbean and the Pacific Ocean. Perhaps the most famous place on the Pacific Coast is Acapulco whose inhabitants are willing to take unbelievable risks by jumping down from the cliffs into the bay. On the Atlantic Coast, the Caribbean part, the Yucatán peninsula and the city of Cancún are mainly widely known amongst tourists.
The Mexicans are lively people whose main concerns are their families and their religious values. The big cities – there are a lot of them in Mexico – are modern in style. However, there are still many indigenous features in Mexican society and even today there are big Mayan groups which still hold on to their traditions.
