We provide professional internships in almost

institutions and organizations. Mostly, we cooperate with national companies,
but we also place our participants in branch offices or subsidiaries of
international firms. All companies are located in the capital San José and
can be easily reached by public transport.

DURATION OF THE INTERNSHIP IN COSTA RICA
It is your decision how long you want to do your
internship in Costa Rica. You set the internship period according to your
time schedule and availability. Please consider the minimum duration of
eight weeks to assure good incorporation and familiarization in your position.

WORKING HOURS AND REMUNERATION OF THE INTERNSHIP
The company defines your working hours during the
internship. Usually, the internships in Costa Rica are full-time positions.
The decision, whether to pay a remuneration or not, is also up to the
company. Please remember that internships in Costa Rica are usually unpaid
work experiences. Due to economic and social reasons in the country, it
is often not possible to pay a salary to interns. However, some companies
reward outstanding performances with non-monetary benefits, such as food
vouchers, transportation expenses, excursions, etc.

LANGUAGE COURSE IN COSTA RICA
Together with the internships in Costa Rica we offer
preparing language courses in San José. A four-week Spanish course
is required for the participation in our internship program.
Note: For participants with good Spanish language
skills it is not absolutely necessary to do the language course, even
though we strongly recommend it to get used to the Costa Rican Spanish
and to learn relevant words and expressions. Please contact us for further
information and/or inquiries.

ACCOMMODATION IN COSTA RICA
During your language course and internship in Costa
Rica we offer you single rooms at host families. The accommodation includes
two meals (breakfast and lunch/dinner) per day as well as laundry service
once a week.
All host families are located in the district where
the language school is and can be easily reached by bus or even by foot.
Supermarkets, restaurants, bars, dancing schools, cyber cafés and
fitness centers are also close-by.
