Is there a minimum program duration?

The minimum duration for Work & Travel and Farm Stay programs varies depending on the country and project. The minimum stay is about 2 months, sometimes longer, but longer stays are encouraged. Many projects are quite flexible and often can adjust to your timetable. The minimum duration is very important to get used to the host country and to become familiar with your work project. Your stay can be extended anytime. The more time you allow for your stay, the better you will play a part in the activities of the program and the more intense your experience abroad will be.
