Home FAQ Volunteer Work in Latin America Is there a participation fee?

Is there a participation fee?

Yes. The participation fee varies according to each project and depends on the length of your stay at the volunteer site. The majority of the fee goes straight to the local project where you will be volunteering. This assures that the project provides you with accommodation and 3 meals per day. Another portion goes to the local project to maintain tools, equipment and materials that are required for your volunteer work. We at South America Inside assure an ongoing monitoring and evaluation process of our projects. We keep track that the volunteer projects are well run, reliable, safe and suitable for our volunteers. We guarantee a high standard of service and assistance through our office staff and the in-country support staff.
