Is there a minimum stay for my internship in Latin America?

The minimum stay for an internship in a Latin American country may vary and depends on each country and company. Basically, the minimum stay is about 2 months (sometimes longer). Generally, longer stays are encouraged. Many companies are quite flexible and often can adjust to your timetable. However, the minimum time is very important to get used to the host country and to become familiar with your work. Your stay can be extended anytime. The more time you allow for your stay, the better you will play part in the activities of the project and the more intensive will be your experience abroad.
