ECUADOR
Learn Spanish in the Center of the World!

Learn Spanish surrounded by major volcanoes, rain forests and the Andean mountains!

The country of Ecuador belongs to the smallest ones in South America. It borders with Peru in the southeast, with Colombia in the northeast and has a wide variety of beautiful beaches due to its perfect location on the Pacific Ocean. The Ocean borders the country on the entire west side. You will be absolutely amazed by the unique natural beauty of Ecuador as well as by numerous tourist attractions: the tropical Amazon Basin in the east and the Andes which cross the whole country and invite you to do activities like hiking or trekking. The Pacific coast is a perfect place for diving or just for relaxing on the beach and enjoying the sun hours. The famous Galapagos Islands, a very special spot on earth, located about 1.000 km away from the main land, are home to a unique flora and fauna (e.g. giant tortoises) and do also belong to Ecuador.

Due to its fertile agricultural areas and its rich oil potential, Ecuador is one of the most economically stable countries in South America. Nevertheless, the country is one of poorest on the South American continent. However, people are very open-minded and hospitable. You will be surprised by their friendliness and their efforts to help you. You will feel comfortable easily and will enjoy being a temporary member of the Ecuadorian society.
